A leading financial service firm is looking for an Operational Risk Manager to join our team.
Your new role
- Advise on operational risk-related matters.
- Conduct operational risk stress tests and investigate risk events.
- Assist in Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management activities.
- Review key risks and controls, track mitigation plans, and ensure follow-up on action items.
- Identify and escalate operational loss events through data analysis.
- Oversee governance and use of End User Computing tools across the group.
- Prepare key risk indicator reports for management using diverse data sources.
- Manage policy exceptions approval/renewal processes.
- Coordinate technology risk assessments and communicate with key IT stakeholders.
- Participate in the annual risk & control self-assessment program, working with business units to identify risks, develop controls, and ensure their effectiveness.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in operational risk management within the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Native Mandarin proficiency is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
