Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and implementing business strategy and action plans (including the Global Markets business line in Southeast Asian branches and subsidiaries)
  • Oversee all business data and ensure timely reporting of all reports (including the Global Markets business line in Southeast Asian branches and subsidiaries)
  • Carry out business analysis regularly and produce reports on a timely basis (including the Global Markets business line in Southeast Asian branches and subsidiaries)
  • Provide support to audit tasks carried out by internal and external auditors or regulators. Participate in setting up all rectification actions and monitor the progress on implementation of these corrective actions
  • Carry out independent monitoring on various risks to ensure compliance\
  • Examine the effectiveness on the implementation of management guidelines and working manuals rules and regulations within Global Markets (including the Global Markets business line in Southeast Asian branches and subsidiaries)
  • Assist in arranging trading systems, market data facilities, computer systems and monitoring of relevant system access right authorization (including the Global Markets business line in Southeast Asian branches and subsidiaries)
  • Identify, quantify and measures various risk areas and implement control measures in respect to the local laws and regulations, regulatory requirements, bank polices. Ensure that abnormal or non-compliance cases are reported promptly to the management and help to set up all rectification actions and monitor the progress on implementation of these corrective actions
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management or immediate supervisor
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or above
  • Rich working experience in Financial industry and treasury market
  • Good understanding on the operation of the department and all relevant policies and guidelines
  • Excellent skill in data analysis. Very sensitive to report any abnormal issues to immediate supervisor and the management on a timely basis
  • With strong responsive sense and good observation and judgment skill to handle emergency cases flexibly
  • With strong written and speaking skill
  • Good understanding of industry dynamics and market changes in Hong Kong and China Financial market
