Overview
Our client, a leading securities firm in Asia, is currently looking for someone with strong experience in settlement, payments and fund transfer to join one of their Operations teams as an Assistant Vice President.
Job Duties
- Execute daily settlement processes for securities, fixed incomes, listed and OTC derivatives, and other structured products
- Manage daily cash deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers/payments for clients
- Conduct day-to-day and monthly reconciliation of trades and positions.
- Collaborate with ECM/IBD teams to oversee IPO/private placement operations
- Handle deposits, withdrawals, and transfers of physical certificates and shares
- Participate in ongoing projects such as system migrations by writing test cases and conducting UAT
Job Responsibilities
- 7 to 10 years of experience in settlement and fund transfers in financial services industry, preferably in securities / brokerage firms
- Strong knowledge of fixed income, structured products, equities, listed and OTC derivatives
- Familiar with using clearing and settlement systems such as Euroclear and Clearstream
- Detail-oriented person with the ability to work independently
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
