Cybersecurity Operations Lead - Financial Services

We are working with a leading organization to support Cybersecurity Operations for an international financial services group. The Cybersecurity Operations Lead will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security risks across the technology infrastructure. This role involves managing security incidents, ensuring compliance with security standards, and enhancing our security posture, particularly in cloud-based environments.

Salary: HK$80K - HK$100K per month + Performance Bonus & Medical


Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk and Security Management:
  1. Be an expert in identifying and managing risks related to network security, cloud security, endpoint security, and identity and access management.
  2. Ensure that security measures align with the firms and clients requirements throughout the operational process.
  • Incident Response and Management:
  1. Oversee the management of security incidents, coordinating with various teams from detection to resolution.
  2. Conduct detailed analyses of major security incidents to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Security Compliance and Standards:
  1. Ensure adherence to internal and industry security standards across departments.
  2. Implement security controls and procedures to secure development and operational processes.
  • Monitoring and Analysis:
  1. Monitor threat intelligence sources to detect potential threats to organizational assets.
  2. Perform regular security reviews and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Communication and Reporting:
  1. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders about security issues, risks, and incident updates.
  2. Provide regular security reports and updates to management and clients.
  • Continuous Improvement and Learning:
  1. Stay informed about the latest security trends, tools, and best practices.
  2. Participate in security and compliance projects, coordinating with various teams to respond to audit requests.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of security and risk management.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM) and cloud security certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of network security, cloud security (AWS), and security monitoring tools.
  • Experience with threat detection and incident response processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex security concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
