Regional Compliance Manager/ Senior Manager (1 year contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for regulatory bodies in China, India, and Malaysia.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators to ensure effective communication and compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Manage M&A compliance due diligence activities for new projects
• Oversee the implementation and monitoring of Compliance Annual Plans.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure adherence to compliance policies and procedures.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements to compliance frameworks.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in the regulatory landscape affecting the insurance industry.
• Provide timely regulatory advice to Cheif Compliance Officer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in compliance management, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in China, India, and Malaysia.
• Proven experience in managing compliance due diligence for M&A transactions.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
