As an Accounts Payable Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in our fast-paced finance department. This is an exceptional opportunity to showcase your skills and grow within a vibrant organisation.
You'll be at the forefront of ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis, making a significant impact on our operations. You'll collaborate across multiple entities and business lines in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and Taiwan, becoming an integral part of our Asia Pacific financial team.
In this role you will: - Prepare and pay the eft runs (eft runs and one-off eft's)
- Perform daily cash reporting and cash management
- Manage relationships with vendors, including advise vendors of payments
- Manage payments of cheques and international swift TTs
- Manage foreign currency invoices and reporting
- Track outgoing payments to ensure all liabilities are settled on time
- Utilise Great Plains to enter payments, reconcile bank accounts and more
- Manage expense reimbursement claims, ensure compliance with company policies
- Vendor on-boarding and vetting
- Assist with internal and external audit queries
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
What we're looking for - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Previous experience (3-5 years) in a full function Accounts Payable role, ideally from MNC
- Experience in general ledgers, journals, invoicing and online corporate banking, including foreign exchange transactions
- Knowledge of basic Financial and Accounting terminology, experience with Great Plains, Reqlogic and excel is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in English and Cantonese
