Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the design, development, and implementation of a securities trading platform, including margin trading.
  • Oversee the operations and development of the securities trading business, driving the achievement of strategic business goals.
  • Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Formulate business strategies, review internal policies, and refine operational processes to meet regulatory compliance and risk control standards.
  • Contribute to the launch of investment products and participate in system integration, enhancement projects, and user acceptance testing, while providing input for new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the department head to align platform capabilities with business objectives, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver solutions.
  • Assist in managing communications with regulators and exchanges, coordinating necessary responses and actions as required.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and recommend appropriate follow-up actions to ensure compliance.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for platform innovation and improvement.
  • Develop and execute investment strategies that align with the company's overall vision and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or above holder with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience in securities trading, wealth management, or digital transformation, with hands-on exposure to building or enhancing trading platforms.
  • Eligibility to act as a Responsible Officer or Executive Officer under SFC Type 1 is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of securities trading and settlement regulations in both Hong Kong and the US markets.
  • Demonstrated success in managing digital transformation or automation initiatives within the financial services sector.
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Holder of relevant licenses, including passes in the HKSI Licensing Exam (Paper 1, 7 & 8) or equivalent qualifications.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate within teams.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Chinese, and Mandarin is required.
  • Flexibility to accommodate varying working hours to align with different exchange market operations.
  • Self-driven, resilient under pressure, and capable of adapting to dynamic environments.
