Manager, IT Audit (Insurance)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive IT audits of systems, processes, and controls to evaluate their effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify IT risks and recommend improvements to mitigate these risks.
• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and recommendations for management.
• Participate in the development and implementation of IT audit plans and strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting IT audit functions.
• Assist in the development of audit programs, test plans, and procedures.
• Provide support during external audits and regulatory examinations.
• Conduct follow-up reviews to ensure implementation of audit recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT auditing, risk management, or related fields, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to the insurance industry.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in audit tools and methodologies.
