Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creation and execution of automation regression tests using the Cucumber framework and Appium.
- Plan and execute performance tests using JMeter.
- Handle test environments, including setting up test cases, devices, and profiles.
- Develop and maintain feature files, step definitions, and element mappings for test automation.
- Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate test automation into the development process smoothly.
- Review test reports, ensure all tests are successful, and identify areas for improvement.
- Offer technical guidance to team members and encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Coordinate with business users, QA teams, and developers to align on solutions and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Use JIRA to manage stories and test cases and track test coverage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- ideally 5+ years of experience in automation testing, including mobile application testing.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, encompassing test planning, test case design, and test execution.
- Extensive experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Cucumber and Appium.
- Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks.
- Experience in performance testing using JMeter.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction
