About the division

Building on over 30 years of delivering first-class business in a first-class way, Morgan Stanley helps Asia wealth management clients succeed by delivering the Firm's global reach, product leadership and investment expertise. To reinforce our commitment to the region, we have established Morgan Stanley Bank Asia Limited, a licensed bank in Hong Kong and a wholesale bank in Singapore, to conduct private wealth management business in Asia.

Responsibilities
  • Stock investment research, financial statements reviews, fundamental credit analysis, help generating investment ideas, and writing of investment memo
  • Understanding of stock derivative strategies
  • Investment analysis to support the discretionary portfolio investment decision across asset classes such as equities, derivatives, funds and fixed income
  • Trade implementation and post-trading and portfolio monitoring
  • Liaising with Investment Representatives, help answering enquiries and promoting DPM products
  • Create and update marketing materials, portfolios performance updates and prepare portfolios proposals
  • Assist senior management with business development projects and planning as and when required
Qualifications - External
  • A university degree or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in portfolio analysis
  • Extensive product knowledge across all asset classes
  • Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal) necessary; fluency in Mandarin with the ability to read Chinese a must
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to consistently perform to the highest standard in a small compact team setting
  • Strong Excel skills with VBA ability and Bloomberg experience is a must
