Overview:
As the Head of Business Banking at Hong Kong Digital Bank, you will spearhead the development of cross-border payments, SME loans, and non-loan services, with a focus on mainland SMEs and the Web3 sector.
Your role involves crafting business strategies, expanding customer relationships, optimizing the product portfolio, and ensuring compliance and operational efficiency to support the bank's rapid growth in digital finance.
Your New Role:
- Formulate and implement strategic plans for the business banking division, emphasizing cross-border payments, SME loans, and non-loan services (e.g., trade finance, cash management).
- Forge partnerships with stakeholders (e.g., payment gateways, fintech companies, industry associations) to enhance market penetration.
- Lead the creation of digital loan and non-loan products tailored for SMEs, integrating cross-border payment needs to enhance user experience and risk management.
- Ensure business operations comply with regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and mainland China, particularly regarding cross-border payments, anti-money laundering (AML), and cryptocurrency regulations.
- Develop a comprehensive credit risk assessment model to balance the risks and returns of SME loan businesses.
- Lead cross-functional teams (product, technology, risk control, compliance) to achieve business objectives.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Solid leadership experience in banks / financial services
- Strong sense in SME and fintech market with basic product knowledges of financial services
- Aggressive and Innovative, stay up-to-dated with the financial markets, especially new financial products
- Understanding of credit risk assessment and local regulatory requirements, regarding cross-border payments, anti-money laundering (AML), and cryptocurrency regulations
