We are helping our Global Supply Chain Client seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Data Engineer to join their specialized data function to create and manage common data, general algorithms, and data bridges. You will be dedicated to shaping and managing group-level data, AI/ML algorithms, and data connections.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to ingest and process data from various sources into the cloud platform. * Define and standardize data assets, ensuring high-quality data delivery.
* Support the design and development of scalable data architectures and data integration solutions.
* Establish standards for the data platform to support the evolving data-driven business.
* Ensure data quality, reliability, and security by supporting Data Governance processes.
* Assist the team lead in project management and provide BAU support services.
* Continuously improve the data ecosystem by evaluating and integrating new tools and technologies.
* Work closely with the Data Science and Data Product teams to provide data solutions that meet business needs.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Information Technology, Data, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working with large-scale data platforms and related technologies.
* Proficient in SQL and Python/Scala with demonstrable experience.
* Experience with big data tools (Databricks/Spark), SQL and NonSQL databases.
* Knowledge of various data modeling techniques and experience in data product implementation.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with user departments and vendors.
* A good team player, self-initiative, and proactive.
