Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day client service operations, ensuring high-quality support is provided to clients and senior management.
  • Lead the execution of daily account transactions and client orders across various investment products, including equities, fixed income, OTC derivative products, mutual funds, and alternative investments.
  • Spearhead initiatives for researching and onboarding new clients, preparing pitch books, and coordinating impactful client events.
  • Proactively deliver insightful investment recommendations and maintain robust communication with clients, ensuring timely and effective responses to inquiries.
  • Manage the account opening process and ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, annual reviews, and transaction monitoring.
  • Drive business development initiatives by identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the institutional market.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize operational efficiency and enhance the overall client experience.
  • Expand and maintain a strong institutional client base while nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Promote research services to clients, including distributing research reports, hosting conference calls, organizing corporate roadshows, and facilitating strategy seminars.
  • Establish and achieve sales targets for IPOs and secondary market placements, driving growth within the institutional client segment.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in brokerage or asset management, with a focus on client-facing roles or institutional sales.
  • Extensive understanding of investment products, financial markets, and private banking strategies.
  • Proven track record in cultivating and sustaining client relationships at a managerial level.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, outstanding communication skills, and fluency in English and Mandarin; Cantonese proficiency is an advantage.
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and adept at multitasking in a high-energy environment.
  • Licensed under SFC with Type 1, and well-versed in local regulatory and compliance requirements.
