Your new company A reputable banking group is looking for a Trust Administration Team Lead.
Your new role - Lead and manage the team to ensure effective delivery of trust administration and customer relationship services.
- Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements related to trust administration.
- Review new trust application documents to ensure compliance with AML/CFT regulations and proper Due Diligence/KYC for customer onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
- Train and develop subordinates to foster professional growth and development.
- Manage a growing number of accounts by providing quality trust services to private and corporate clients.
- Handle day-to-day trustee administration for Private Trusts, Charitable Trusts, and Employee Share Award Schemes.
- Restructuring, trust termination, bank account opening, payments/remittances, and time deposit placements/renewals.
- Review and customisation of trust deeds/scheme rules for proper administration of employee share award schemes.
- Provide trust relationship management to clients and conduct regular reviews of trust structures and needs.
- Liaise with various internal and external parties, including private bankers, asset managers, tax advisors, lawyers, company service providers, auditors, and accountants in relation to trust activities.
What you'll need to succeed - Degree holder in law, accounting, business-related discipline, or relevant professional qualifications such as TEP and HKCGI Chartered member is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in trust administration, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a client-focused mindset.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese word processing.
- Immediate availability is preferred
