Your new role
- Design and implement strategies to integrate multiple independent systems into a centralised, efficient data platform.
- Develop standards and protocols for collecting, organising, and storing diverse datasets, including both structured and unstructured data (e.g., text, images, phone numbers).
- Optimise data allocation to ensure front-end systems can efficiently retrieve and display information for end users.
- Unify various data types and formats into a cohesive, easily visualised structure to ensure smooth data processing and usability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including researchers, software engineers, and data scientists, to understand data needs and implement effective solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in life sciences, health sciences, or enterprise-level industries with a focus on managing large and complex datasets is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in designing data architectures for large-scale systems, handling both structured and unstructured data.
- Familiarity with various database systems (experience with Oracle is not mandatory; other databases are welcome).
- Ability to create innovative solutions for integrating disparate systems and optimising data workflows.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
