Position Title: Head of Human Resources & Administration (VP Level)
Location: Tai Po, Hong Kong (Primary Office)
Position Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Organizational Development
- Act as a key advisor to executive leadership, providing critical HR and administrative insights that inform corporate strategy and business planning.
- Design and implement long-term HR strategies aligned with global business objectives, ensuring organizational agility and scalability.
- Lead structural optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and resource allocation across international locations.
Talent Management & Workforce Planning
- Develop comprehensive talent strategies focused on acquisition, development, retention, and succession planning for key roles.
- Implement innovative recruitment solutions to meet evolving skill demands in advanced manufacturing and automation sectors.
- Establish performance excellence frameworks to promote accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Policy, Compliance & Governance
- Oversee the creation and enforcement of HR and administrative policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions (Greater China, South America, etc.).
- Monitor regulatory changes and adapt policies to mitigate risks while supporting business needs.
- Manage cross-border employee relations, ensuring harmonization of practices across diverse cultural and legal environments.
Operational HR & Team Leadership
- Lead HR shared services to streamline payroll, benefits, and employee services processes.
- Foster a high-performance culture through leadership development, coaching, and capability-building initiatives.
- Champion EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) standards to ensure safe and sustainable operations.
Global Mobility & Stakeholder Engagement
- Manage expatriate programs and international assignments, addressing relocation, compliance, and cultural integration challenges.
- Strengthen relationships with government and community stakeholders to enhance corporate reputation and operational continuity.
Position Requirements:
Education & Credentials
- Advanced degree (MBA, MA, or MSc) in Human Capital Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related fields.
Professional Experience
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 8 years at the executive level in multinational manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Proven success in managing HR functions across multiple regions, particularly in Greater China (mainland & Hong Kong); exposure to North Asian and Americas labor markets is advantageous.
- Expertise in HR digital transformation, including AI-driven talent analytics and workforce planning tools.
Functional Competencies
- Mastery of end-to-end HR disciplines: talent acquisition, compensation design, organizational development, and labor relations.
- Proven ability to align HR initiatives with business KPIs to drive measurable operational impact.
- Strong risk management skills in compliance, crisis response, and ethical governance.
