About the team
Corporate Banking Administration Section is responsible for handling daily transactions such as loans, foreign exchange, deposits, remittances, and fund transfers for corporate customers. The team is committed to delivering excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and supporting cross-selling of the banks products and services.
Role requirements
- Provide comprehensive banking services exclusively to Japanese corporate customers, primarily through telephone communication.
- Process daily banking transactions such as bilateral loans, time deposits, foreign exchange, and remittances with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, resolving issues and delivering clear, reliable information.
- Provide customers with up-to-date money market and FX indicative rates as required.
- Coordinate with front and back office teams to ensure timely and accurate processing and settlement of all transactions.
Essential Functions
- Verify customer instructions and documentation for transaction processing.
- Monitor and follow up on ongoing and rollover transactions to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and deliver money market and FX indicative rates to customers, maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve transaction issues and support smooth operations.
- Conduct AML-related enquiries with customers during transactions and escalate cases as needed for compliance.

Work experience, education and skills
- Bachelors degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in banking or customer service; experience working with Japanese companies or serving Japanese corporate customers is an advantage.
- Familiarity with banking products, especially money market transactions and foreign exchange.
- Native Cantonese speaker with fluent Japanese (JLPT N1/N2), and good spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Strong communication skills and professional telephone manner.
- Proactive, accurate, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
