About the team
Corporate Banking Administration Section is responsible for handling daily transactions such as loans, foreign exchange, deposits, remittances, and fund transfers for corporate customers. The team is committed to delivering excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and supporting cross-selling of the banks products and services.
Role requirements
- Direct handle and process daily corporate banking transactions, including bilateral loans, deposits, foreign exchange, and remittances for Hong Kong and China-based corporate clients.
- Maintain ongoing client contact to address transaction requests, resolve inquiries, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Check and verify transaction details to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements before execution.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational issues and support smooth transaction flows.
- Identify and recommend practical improvements to existing workflows and operational procedures to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Essential Functions
- Review client instructions and supporting documentation for corporate banking transactions, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Process and follow up on bilateral loans, time deposits, foreign exchange, and remittance transactions to ensure timely and correct execution.
- Monitor the status of ongoing and rollover transactions, and proactively address any issues or delays to maintain smooth operations.
- Coordinate with relevant internal departments to resolve transaction discrepancies and support efficient workflow.
- Maintain detailed and accurate transaction records, preparing necessary reports for management and audit purposes.
- Assist junior staff with transaction processing and documentation, providing guidance and sharing best practices.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing, processing, and recording transaction data.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving operational issues.
Work experience, education and skills
- Bachelors degree in business, finance, or a related field; advanced degree is an asset.
- At least 5 years of experience in banking, with direct exposure to middle-office operations or RM support for corporate clients.
- Familiarity with banking products such as loans, deposits, and foreign exchange.
- Experience working with Hong Kong and China corporate clients preferred.
- Fluent Cantonese, and good spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; proficient in MS Office, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
