Position Description

Under the IT COO office, this role is responsible for delivering strategic programs, governance on all IT projects -& act as a primary liaison between IT COO and headquarters.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • As a PMO, be accountable for governance of IT projects as per the PMO guidelines.
  • Work closely with headquarter to liaise IT programs to ensure strategies are carried out smoothly
  • Manage and deliver enterprise level programs (from funding, to SDLC, to closure)
  • Govern the projects as per the PMO guidelines and policies
  • Provide regular updates to department heads and Beijing HQ
  • Prepare project status reports on a regular basis for various stakeholders
  • Translation of governance reports to higher management of parent company
  • Review existing guidelines and policies and update them as per need of the firm

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business related discipline
  • Around 10 years of relevant experience in Investment banking, Brokerage or Technology firms
  • Less experience could be considered as PMO Manager
  • Excellent analytical skills, logic and numeracy
  • Strong communicator, organized and methodical by nature
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a MUST
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivots, reconciliation of large data sets, basic analytics)
  • Strong understanding of PMO role & function
  • Candidate must be able to articulate the value-add they can bring to the PMO function and organization
  • Experience and knowledge of Investment banking front-back office functional flows is preferred
  • Experience with project management tools, budgeting, working with vendors and/or off-shore teams will be an advantage
