Job Summary: The IT Group Risk Management Systems (GRMS) team is responsible for developing and supporting technology solutions for the Group Risk Management division. We are seeking a seasoned IT professional with strong expertise in application development and project delivery.
Job Duties: The successful candidate will lead IT project implementation and application development for Group Risk Management Systems.
Job Responsibilities: - Managing the full system development life cycle, including requirement definition, resource estimation, system design and development, functional and technical testing, production migration, and documentation.
- Performing quality reviews for software design and code changes.
- Collaborating with teams across IT and business departments.
- Leading and mentoring a team of software developers based in Hong Kong and Mainland China (e.g., Shenzhen).
- Handling additional assignments and projects as directed by the supervisor.
Job Requirements: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in IT application development (SDLC), preferably within the financial industry. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Senior Systems Analyst.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in designing and developing systems using Java and database technologies on Linux platforms. Experience in C++ and DB2/Oracle is an advantage.
- Communication: With the ability to communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex technical requirements, anticipate challenges, and develop flexible solutions.
