Your new company A top-tier life insurer is looking for a business audit candidate to manage a team including IT audit.
Your new role
Plan, manage, and execute end-to-end business audits in accordance with Group Internal Audit standards, covering insurance operations, compliance, risk management, and governance.
Act as a key liaison between business auditors and IT auditors, particularly on application control testing, data governance, and strategic technology initiatives within business audits.
Partner with senior stakeholders across different business units to identify key risks, discuss audit findings, and provide practical recommendations to improve internal controls.
Support the Head of Internal Audit in delivering the audit plan, including coaching and managing a small team and driving audit process enhancements.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of APAC audit work and support special projects or investigations as required, with occasional travel.
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 12 years of relevant audit experience, preferably within life insurance and/or Big Four firms, with strong exposure to business audit, compliance, and risk.
Solid understanding of application control audits and how IT controls integrate into business audits (hands-on IT audit experience is not mandatory, but foundational knowledge is required).
Ability to read and understand Chinese, with strong communication and presentation skills to engage effectively with multiple business units and senior stakeholders.
Experience in team management or coaching is a plus, along with proven ability to manage multiple audits and deliver within timelines and quality standards.
Strong analytical skills with exposure to data analytics or audit tools; proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with emerging risks.
