Our client, a leading securities trading firm, is seeking a high-caliber IT PMO Director to lead the strategic execution and governance of our technology portfolio. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all IT programs are delivered with operational excellence, rigorous standards, and clear measurable value. You will act as the primary bridge between regional IT leadership, key business stakeholders, and the Global Corporate Headquarters , driving transparency and prioritization across a complex, high-stakes environment.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Framework & Compliance: Champion corporate policies and PMO guidelines, ensuring all initiatives meet stringent regulatory and internal governance standards.
- Cross-Border Integration: Align local PMO processes with global headquarters standards to facilitate seamless communication and reporting across different jurisdictions.
- Executive Liaison: Provide high-level strategic updates and performance metrics to Department Heads and Senior Executive Leadership at the Corporate HQ.
- Program Leadership: Direct the lifecycle of enterprise-level strategic programs, overseeing everything from initial architecture to final delivery.
- Portfolio Health: Maintain a rigorous pulse on project health, proactively managing risks, interdependencies, and critical escalations.
- Business Alignment: Facilitate the translation of strategic business priorities into actionable IT roadmaps, ensuring technology remains an enabler of growth.
Professional Requirements
- Educational Background: Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related quantitative field.
- Seniority: Minimum of 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in IT Governance, PMO Leadership, or Large-Scale Program Management.
- Sector Expertise: Proven track record within Financial Services, Investment Banking, or Brokerage —specifically within highly regulated environments.
- Strategic Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the enterprise IT landscape and front-to-back business processes within a financial institution.
- Financial Acumen: Strong grasp of IT cost allocation , budget management, and ROI tracking for large-scale portfolios.
- Bilingual Capability: Fluency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) is mandatory to manage communication between the regional office and the Corporate Headquarters.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional presentation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at the C-suite level.
