Our client is a fast-growing asset management firm dedicated to delivering exceptional investment solutions to its clients. They are seeking a highly qualified Compliance Director to join their team and ensure that their operations meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance.
Your new role
- You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of regulatory compliance within the organisation.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
- onduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory guidelines, assessing their impact on the firm and updating policies accordingly.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
- Prepare and submit required regulatory filings and reports.
- Collaborate with senior management to foster a culture of compliance and ethical behaviour throughout the organisation.
- Manage the compliance team and oversee performance reviews and professional development.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, CCEP) preferred.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in compliance within the asset management/financial services industry. Also, we welcome candidates from compliance consulting firms to try.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
- Proven ability to analyse complex regulations and communicate them effectively.
- Exceptional organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Fluent in English is a must.
