The CIHL season started up again with 2 exciting close games.
In Game 1 the Tycoons jumped out to a 4-1 lead heading into the third period when the Aces made a comeback and took the lead 5-4. In the last 14 seconds of the game the Tycoons tied it up and overtime solved nothing with each team earning a point.
In Game 2: the Sharks earned their first victory of the season boosted with the return of captain Jordan So and the addition of intern Jacob Pentz. The Sharks bested the Warriors 8-6 in a fast back and forth game.
