Gobbo is from Toronto Ontario, and is the newest addition to the Junior Tiger coaching staff.

Prior to arriving as a coach in Hong Kong, Gobbo played four years in the NCAA for the Connecticut College in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC). Other Junior Tiger coaches who competed in this conference include Dave Belluche, Liam Moorfield-Yee and Matt Gaetz.

Upon completion of his NCAA career, Gobbo was signed to the French professional team Dragons de Poitiers in Poitiers, France.

In Hong Kong, Gobbo will be working with the Junior Tigers to provide additional coaching and development resources for goalies.
