Hello there, just added a second helper to the house and need tips on best managing them.

I am in the same boat.
I am very specific as in " follow my instructions" "do only what I tell you to do" " If I didn't tell you to do it, don't do it"
"Ask..always ask."
I have learnt never to ask a helper to show initiative.
I have a second new helper working for me. I said all the above and we are moving apartment. I tell her to complete a task, let me know, then I tell her the next task.
So what did she do today ? She dismantled my entire internet connection, wires, etc...and her response " because in my head I think ma'am will tell me to do this..."
So to handle two helpers is to speak to each helper directly.Never tell one helper to be the messenger.
