Well... the WSJ reports that it's like going back to high school and being part of the popularity contest at lunch tables...

The experience is apparently fraught with rejection and awkward moments... of not being with the 'in crowd'



As the WSJ points out - many of the people who take space in share offices cannot afford their own offices --- and often have very little to do as they do not have viable businesses... so they are spending much (most?) of their time socializing....

And this is what leads to the formation of cliques within the spaces...
