Hi everyone,
I am just being nosey. Has anyone noticed a blind man in a red coat, glasses and cap walking along the mid-levels escalator every evening?
Just wondering who he is and how come he has this strange routine. Does anyone know him and / or his story?

Hey Goth, yes have seen him many times on my way home up the escalator. First time offered to help him via a very reluctant local interpreter I caught nearby but he refused help. Have also seen him in the Wellcome just below on Queen's Road where the staff seem to know him well n shout out stuff to him when he goes the wrong way :) Guess he's almost blind but likes his independence. I like the way he takes care to dress very formally, even in summer :)

Nice to get a reply! I've seen him walking on Caine road as well.
Also I noticed he tends to get stuck changing between escalators, but there's always someone offering help. Yeah the locals tend to leave him alone. I really wonder where he lives and how he gets by, and if anyone is taking care of him.
Has he always been around the escalator, or appeared a few years ago? Anyone?
