Dependant visa

Hey all. Not sure where to post this thought I'd try here. My wife who is from Hong Kong and now lives in Canada wants to move back to Hong Kong which I'm fine with doing as well. But when look at the requirements for dependant sponser visa. It says the Gov will want to see bank statements and rent lease. The problem is if we are coming from Canada to Homg Kong how could she have that stuff? Also we would be staying with her parents when we 1st move there. Any ideas or anything on how this would work?
