Should I still try TTC

Sorry to hear about your struggle with fertility. If you have tried everything medically then maybe it's time to think of alternative ways you can be a mother.

Have you and your husband considered adoption? If you are adamant about having your own biological child you can look into gestational surrogacy.

Good luck with whatever you decide. I know what you are going through, I had no luck conceiving the natural way and decided to adopt. Now my son is 16 and when he's not being a stroppy teenager he is a delight! I tried IVF as well and was very lucky the first time. If it hadn't worked out we wouldn't done it again and would have adopted another child.

I'm so sorry to hear about your struggles too. I too have been through my ups and downs with infertility.

Adoption can be a consideration if your husband is willing to try. The other possibilities could be donor eggs and/or sperms, or even donor embryos. Surrogacy is another option as well. I know that Dr Wiwat's team in Thailand has had very good results with these.

Sometimes it isn't that our prayers aren't answered but rather, it is answered in a different way.

Good luck and I'm sure you'll find your answers :-)

I'm very sorry to hear about your troubles. I'm a holistic practitioner of Arvigo Therapy and specialise in female reproductive health. There are lot of factors that contribute to infertility and as I don't know your full history, it is difficult to advise. I presume that you have had all your tests and if they say you and your husband's fertility problems are "unexplained" then it could be caused by a displaced uterus or blockages/ restricted flow of vital fluids to your pelvic area. There are many causes for this that western doctors may not consider an issue but they really can contribute to problems. Painful periods, clotting in blood, Brown spotting, cold feet, irregular periods, PCOS, Endometriosis, Ovarian problems and many more all indicate that your uterus may be in the wrong place. If this is the case, then it can create all sorts of issues with your reproductive health. It is difficlut for me to go into a lot of details in this message but if you have any menstrual issues and would like ot know more about how Arvigo Therapy can help, please don't hesitate to contact me. In the mean time there is more info online you can look at. Here are a couple links but there is more if you google it:

I really hope you can resolve your issues. It really is heartbreaking to hear stories like yours and also so many other women that have problems with fertility.

All the best and luck.

Hello! Thank you to all folks, my account was lost so I am commenting from my another account. In the past month me and my hubby made consensus that it's very important to have this experience of life. I have gone under another IVF, we r now counting on prayers & may God bless all couples going through difficult times like this.

Hi

Do keep us posted. Our prayers are with you.

I have had my own problems with infertility and now considering adoption. I have accepted that I will take one last chance with IVF in 3 months' time and if it isn't successful, that would be it. It is scary to think that it is the last and final chance as I am not able to concieve naturally and can't afford IVF too many times.

The very best to you.

Hi jennifer30 and SGExpat13,

Please do not give up, i understand the sadness, the upset, and the lost of financial in struggling on infertility problem. Please consider surrogacy if you experience several time failed ivf. I did surrogacy and it success. It's still your own child, better than adoption. Sometimes your embryo can't grow well in your own uterus but it can do well in other woman uterus.

I did surrogacy in bangkok thailand, it's very straight forward, many clinics in bangkok offer surrogacy, just choose the clinic which you trust and be optimist.

Maybe you can enjoy your finance now, but it useless when you getting old and nobody can take care of you. Your relative have their own problem, will not concern you everytime. It's just an opinion.

Baby Allin - you are based in SG I notice. I am intrigued by your suggestion of doing surrogacy in BKK. Could you recommend me the procedure and also how to go about it as SG govt has certain rules about surrogacy. Maybe I shouldn't hijack Jennifer's thread. Will PM you.

Cheers

Hi SGExpat13,

That's ok, i think this information may be usefull for anyone who will consider surrogacy. For info of clinics i ever mentioned it in topic "egg donation in thailand", please check it up.

The procedure is simple, it's better for you to go to bangkok and visit each clinic, talk to the doctor, ask their program, then select the clinic which you feel is the best, don't based on their famous name. Don't forget to bring your medical record.

You can do full stimulation ivf process there or you can bring back home the injection then fly back again to bkk for egg retrieval (if you use your own egg).

For the sperm, if you use your husband sperm, your husband must be there at the time of egg retrieval or you may use sperm freezing, it will charge you cost again. Most of the clinics there provide donor sperm and donor egg. The decision is up to you.

If you plan to stay long term in bangkok, it's better for you to rent apartment 25.000-35.000 baht, depend on their facilities. The food in bangkok much cheaper than in sg. For transportation, try to use sky train BTS, it's cheap convinience and fast. Taxi also not too expensive but most taxi driver don't understand english....

Please google about the thai surrogacy law, so you clear about it before you start. The birth certificate will write surrogate mother name as the mother. But if you use your husband sperm, your husband name will appear in birth certificate as the father. And the father has the right to bring the baby.

Remember to select single or divorce surrogate mother. But usually the agency will do that because they won't any problem appear.

No need to use lawyer, it's useless, why? Because surrogacy have no legal law yet in thailand. So eventhough you have lawyer if problem appear, but the law will not protect you, instead they will protect the surrogate mother.

Just be Optimist, and pray 100%......

After the baby born and you apply baby passport, don't ever mentioned that it's surrogacy process. The amphur will know it, it happens every times every year, but you just can't say it.

As long as you can get the baby out from thailand so it's ok, try to find way in your country...

Hope the information may help you.
