Do you know if there is any adoption leave similar to maternity leave for new parents in order to travel to get child and bond with the child?

Not sure if you have an answer to your question already but I am in a similar position and there is no legal requirement for a company in HK to give you time off to adopt a baby. It is completely depends on the policies and flexibility of the company that you work for. My company is giving me the same benefits that an expecting mother would get when I am adopting a baby.
