Moving to Tokyo - Electric appliances

Hello all,

I am moving to Tokyo soon and I would like to some advice regarding moving electrical appliances. I have a refrigerator, washing machine and dryer that I would like to bring with me but I am not sure wether I will be able to use them in Tokyo.

I am aware that I would need to buy transformers etc... but would it be the right thing to do ?
