Shock over closure of travel agency popular with domestic helpers

Free Spirit Travel a travel agency favoured by domestic helpers working in Hong Kong, informed the Travel Industry Council of HK that it will cease operations on Wednesday. 

 

The move will impact nearly 500 travellers who stand to lose over HKD1,000,000 in pre-paid fees. 

Most of the domestic helpers involved were Indonesians.
