UK tourists visa for DH

Hello everyone...!!
Would like to ask, we are British family and we are intending to take our helper this summer holiday to UK for about a month, she's been with us for five years, the question is which ones is easier to get visa for her?? Should we apply tourists visa or as a worker with us?? As we heard its bit complicated. Has anyone done it ??? TIA
