Our client is embarking on a multi-year private cloud migration programme. They are seeking a Private Cloud Engineer to support evaluating options, engaging vendors, and contributing to design decisions for the future-state platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and operate private cloud environments as part of a major migration programme.
• Evaluating private cloud platforms engaging vendors, and contributing to design decisions.
• Apply DevOps tools and automation practices to cloud operations.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to define requirements and evaluate solutions.
• Contribute to the design of the future-state private cloud platform
• Document findings, produce reports, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: At least 4 years of cloud experience, with a strong focus on private cloud environments.
• Private Cloud Engineering: Proven experience designing, building, and operating private cloud environments.
• VMware Expertiese: Exposure to VMware environments and migration/exit programmes - understanding the challenges of moving off VMware..
• DevOps & Automation: Knowledge of DevOps tools and automation practices.
• Languages: Good communicaiton in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Vendor Management: Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication skills
• Chinese Cloud- Any Chinese Cloud knowledge would be an advantage
