We are looking for an experienced Private Cloud Engineer to join a major cloud transformation programme within a large financial services organisation in Hong Kong.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants to be involved in a large-scale cloud modernisation programme.
What You'll Be Doing

• Support the assessment, design and development of next-generation private cloud infrastructure
• Participate in cloud migration and infrastructure transformation initiatives
• Evaluate different cloud technologies and vendor solutions
• Work across compute, storage, networking, virtualisation and cloud platforms
• Support infrastructure automation and DevOps adoption
• Work closely with internal engineering teams, architects and external technology vendors
• Contribute to technical studies, proof-of-concepts and solution evaluation

What We're Looking For

• Around 5+ years' experience across cloud, infrastructure or platform engineering
• Hands-on experience with private cloud, virtualisation or cloud infrastructure
• Experience with technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud or Tencent Cloud
• Familiarity with DevOps / automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or similar
• Cloud migration or infrastructure transformation experience would be an advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
