Responsibilities:
- Conduct rigorous fundamental research on publicly listed Emerging Markets equities, filtering complex data to drive high-conviction investment recommendations.
- Build, update, and maintain detailed financial forecast models, DCFs, and comparative valuation analyses.
- Write concise, analytical investment memos and pitch research findings directly to senior portfolio managers.
- Take end-to-end ownership of research projects while working closely with senior investors in a flat, small-team structure.
- Adopt a hands-on approach to support broader ad-hoc research and operational tasks across an agile boutique environment.
- Strong academic record with a high-quality university degree.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, rigorous critical thinking, and an industrious work ethic.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
- Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced setting.
