The Role & Landscape:

1. Regional Stewardship: Assume localized ownership and strategic oversight of a mature, multi-market corporate travel and expense operations framework across the Asia-Pacific region.
2. Technology Integration: Act as the regional lead for the deployment, scaling, and user adoption of modern online booking tools (OBTs) to streamline legacy, high-touch booking workflows.
3. Vendor Governance: Direct and monitor the performance of primary Travel Management Companies (TMCs) and third-party service providers, strictly enforcing localized SLAs and KPIs.
4. Policy & Compliance: Leverage pre-trip and post-trip data analytics to minimize travel leakage, optimize cost containment, and drive traveler policy compliance across regional offices.
5. Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as a trusted corporate travel advisor to regional leadership, maintaining a seamless, collaborative dual-reporting alignment with global headquarters.

What We Are Looking For:

1. 8+ years of dedicated, pure buyer-side corporate travel management experience within a complex multinational corporate structure or global financial institution.
2. Proven track record of successfully managing regional travel operations and delivering end-to-end online booking tool (OBT) implementations.
3. Strong commercial acumen with experience managing external agency relationships, corporate card integrations, and regional supplier partnerships.
4. Excellent change-management and communication capabilities, with the professional gravitas required to influence regional stakeholders and align with global leadership.
5. A background completely rooted within corporate client travel operations; supplier-only or generalist procurement profiles without dedicated travel desk management will not be considered.
