Senior Voice Engineer

This role is accountable for the architecture, stability, security, compliance, and evolution of mission-critical

voice services, including:

o Cisco IP Telephony (CUCM)

o BT Trading Environment (BTTE) turret systems

o Verint Financial Compliance (VFC) voice recording

o SIP/PSTN connectivity and carrier integrations

· The position operates in a regulated financial-services environment supporting front-office trading,

compliance, and business-critical communications.

· Provide senior-level design, operation, and escalation support for:

o Cisco CUCM / Unity Connection / JTAPI

o Trading Environment turrets

o Voice Recording systems. E.g. Verint Financial Compliance (VFC)

· Ensure high availability, resiliency, and low-latency performance for trading and corporate voice services.

· Own integration points between:

o Turrets ↔ CUCM

o Voice systems ↔ VFC recording

o SIP trunks ↔ carriers (HKT, BT, international telcos)

· Act as the technical lead for voice incidents, including carrier escalations, fraud-related investigations, and

major outages.

· Support voice architecture contributions to new office builds, trading floor expansions, relocations, and

platform upgrades. * Work closely with Network, Security, Compliance, Trading Support, and external

vendors to ensure service continuity and regulatory compliance.

Core Technical Expertise

· Deep expertise in Cisco CUCM (multi-cluster, global dial plan preferred).

· Strong experience with turret platforms in front-office environments.

· Hands-on knowledge of Verint VFC or equivalent regulated voice-recording systems.

· Expert understanding of SIP, RTP, CUBE, PSTN/PRI, QoS, and carrier interconnects.

· Solid background in voice security and fraud-mitigation design.

· Strong experience supporting enterprise voice platforms in a multi‑country, global environment

Professional Experience

· 8+ years in enterprise voice / unified communications engineering.

· Proven experience supporting trading floor turret systems.

· Proven experience supporting voice recording systems

· Background in financial services or regulated environments strongly preferred.

· Experience acting as a technical lead or design authority.

· Project management experience is an advantage
