Associate, ESG, Investment Team

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct ESG research on portfolio investees across asset classes, including data mining, proprietary assessments, peer benchmarking, and ongoing monitoring
2. Integrate ESG insights into the fundamental investment process and support investment decision-making
3. Support stewardship activities, including company engagements, proxy voting analysis, and execution
4. Maintain ESG databases and prepare reports, disclosures, and documentation in line with regulatory frameworks and investor requirements
5. Prepare ESG investment cases, presentation materials, research contents and meeting notes for internal and external communications
6. Collaborate closely with investment teams to implement and articulate responsible investment strategies and processes
7. Liaise with ESG data providers, regulators, and industry participants to stay updated on market developments and ensure data quality and service delivery

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related disciplines
2. 1–3 years of relevant experience in the financial industry; exposure to ESG or sustainability-related work is an advantage
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in ESG and responsible investment
4. Proficiency in data analysis (Excel required; VBA and/or Python is a plus)
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively
6. Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
7. Fluency in English and Mandarin
