IG Credit Trader, Investment Bank (Associate/VP/Director)

We are mandated by a leading international bank to identify an IG Credit Trader to join their Global Markets business in Hong Kong. This is a newly created seat, representing a genuine opportunity to build and own a franchise from the ground up within a well-resourced platform.
The Role
The trader will be responsible for flow credit market-making across Pan Asian accounts, with meaningful involvement in primary issuance given the firm's active new issue calendar. Sector coverage spans Financials, Technology, Utility and Energy.
The firm is also open to hybrid profiles; candidates with a background spanning IG/SSA, IG/AUS IG, or IG/Asian IG are equally of interest.
Who We're Looking For
- Open to candidates at Associate, VP, or Director level; what matters most is the quality of the individual and their appetite to build
- Background at a bank with an established and well-penetrated US IG platform in Asia
- Demonstrated experience in credit flow trading across Pan Asian markets
- Someone energised by the prospect of building a desk, not just running one
