The Role & Landscape

Stepping into this high-visibility position, you will serve as the strategic bridge between the Global Markets business desks and core engineering teams. You will be responsible for driving the technical evolution of our derivatives trading and lifecycle management applications.

1. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate directly with traders, risk managers, and operations teams to deconstruct, challenge, and refine complex business needs.
2. Technical Translation: Design and document meticulous functional specifications, translating business requirements into actionable technical architecture for development teams.
3. End-to-End Delivery: Oversee the complete SDLC, establishing rigorous testing strategies, executing System Integration Testing (SIT), and orchestrating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
4. Risk & Optimization: Proactively identify systemic constraints, escalating operational risks while implementing both tactical workarounds and long-term strategic system solutions.

What We Are Looking For

1. Professional Experience: 5 to 8 years of proven experience as an IT Business Analyst within an investment banking, institutional asset management, or premier financial technology environment.
2. Domain Expertise: Strong functional knowledge of Derivatives products; direct exposure to Equity Derivatives (EQD), OTC Options, or Prime Brokerage workflows is highly beneficial.
3. Technical Tooling: Solid proficiency in SQL and data manipulation; prior hands-on exposure to major enterprise trade/order management vendor platforms (e.g., Calypso or similar) is highly advantageous.
4. Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a quantitative financial discipline.
5. Communication Mastery : Fluency in professional English alongside proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin capability is highly regarded for regional stakeholder collaboration).
