Policy Admin Manager - Life

A leading life insurance organisation with a strong presence in Asia is seeking an experienced professional to support the development and management of premium financing operations within its Policy Administration function.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive end-to-end operating model for premium financing, covering new business, in-force servicing, claims, surrender, and policy maturity
• Develop and document detailed operational workflows,
• Establish bank onboarding frameworks, including documentation standards and assignment procedures
• Embed robust control frameworks (e.g. maker-checker, four-eyes principle, segregation of duties)
• Partner with IT and business teams to define and deliver system enhancements, including:
  • Assignment and policy encumbrance indicators
  • Automated correspondence handling
  • Bank reporting interfaces
• Support UAT, implementation, and post-go-live reviews
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Legal, Audit, Underwriting, and Distribution
• Monitor service quality, turnaround times, and partner/customer feedback
• Manage operational incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to enhance team capability

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Life Insurance Policy Administration
• Professional qualifications such as FLMI, ACS, ALMI, or ANZIIF are advantageous.
• Proven experience in premium financing operations for life insurance products (e.g. participating, whole life, endowment)
• Strong understanding of Policy assignment structures
• Exposure to both bank and broker distribution channels is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
