Position Summary

  1. This is a pivotal senior management role where you’ll lead our client's Sales & Trading (S&T). With a sharp focus on Fixed Income (FICC) and Credit products, you’ll be at the helm of driving their strategic vision and financial success in the global markets.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  1. Oversee and lead the sales and trading division for clients, setting revenue and performance targets for the department.
  2. Lead the fixed income trading team, proprietary trading, and credit flow trading, covering markets such as global financial, Asia IG, China LGFV, and Asia HY.
  3. Oversee the development of cross-border solutions, including fixed income and cross-asset products for QDII and fund products via total return swap, and actively trade on China onshore interest rates through Bond Connect.

Operational Excellence

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans and annual budgets for business execution.
  2. Monitor trader performance across product lines, ensuring key performance indicators are achieved.
  3. Supervise fixed income proprietary trading and market-making activities.
  4. Monitor market dynamics closely and develop trading strategies to capitalize on market opportunities

Compliances

  1. Represent the division in key client negotiations and transactions.
  2. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies

Candidate Requirements

  1. Experience: At least 10 years in global markets, sales, or trading at a reputable investment bank or securities firm.
  2. Leadership: A proven track record in senior roles, demonstrating your ability to inspire and guide high-performing teams.
  3. Client Expertise: Exceptional relationship management skills to build and sustain high-level connections.
  4. Communication: Superior presentation and articulation skills to convey complex ideas with clarity and impact.
  5. Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial market regulations and compliance.
  6. Language: Fluency in Mandarin to thrive in the Chinese market and unlock its full potential.
