Our client is a leading regional banking institution seeking a compliance professional to advise its Global Markets business, manage regulatory risks, and support business growth within a strong governance framework.
Job Description
As an AVP Global Markets Compliance, your main responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies in the global markets sector.
- Advising business units on compliance-related matters and regulatory requirements.
- Conducting compliance risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures.
- Providing training to staff on compliance-related topics.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to address compliance issues and implement solutions.
- Preparing and submitting compliance reports to senior management and regulatory authorities.
- Staying updated on changes in regulatory requirements and ensuring the organisation's adherence.
A successful AVP Global Markets Compliance should have:
- 5-7 years of compliance experience with exposure to FICC products
- Must have strong business compliance advisory experience
- Expertise in global markets and risk management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and policies.
- A degree in finance, law, or a related field.
- Competitive salary ranging from HKD 900,000 to HKD 1,100,000 annually.
