VP Finance and Regulatory Reporting

Our client is a global investment bank who is looking for a senior Financial Accountant to join its regulatory reporting team based in Hong Kong, reporting to the head of department.

As part of this finance team you will be responsible for :

1. Review and supervision of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for Hong Kong and the China entities covering IFRS and US GAAP accounting.
2. Manage monthly FRR regulatory reporting to the SFC
3. Review and implement new accounting standards covering US GAAP and IFRS
4. Review and approve new product request from an accounting and regulatory perspective
5. Apply expert knowledge in consolidations
6. Maintain and enhance the control and governance framework whilst leading the improvements of process and control.
7. Management of the offshore reporting team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years experience working in financial reporting within a global bank, be CPA / CA qualified with strong IFRS, US GAAP and FRR reporting.
