Product Controller VP / AVP

Our client is a global bank looking for a multi asset product controller to join their team, based in Hong Kong, reporting to the Head of Product control.

The team currently covers a wide spectrum of businesses including Equities, Fixed Income, Treasury, and Investment Banking. The role offers the opportunity to obtain exposure to all these different areas, although this would be achieved in phases over time. The role will require the candidate to be very hands-on to help the team with daily P&L production as well as month end processes. There will be regular direct interactions with different stakeholders including Trading, Operations, Risk, IT, and other Finance teams locally and abroad.

Key Responsibilities

1. T0 Reporting
2. Inventory Reporting
3. P&L analysis and commentary
4. Balance Sheet substantiation
5. Reconciliation of reported P&L to ledger
6. Assistance in the IPV process

The following skills and experience are required for this role:

1. Qualified Accountant (preferred but not essential)
2. Product control experience
3. Strong Excel knowledge
4. Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
