Junior Sales Trader

Role Description

• Support senior sales traders in executing client orders, monitoring market movements, and providing timely trade-related information.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing sales and trading reports, maintaining accurate transaction records, and assisting with pricing, quotations, and trade confirmations.
• liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth trade execution and resolving basic trade-related queries.
• Track market news, support business development initiatives, and contribute to maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of financial markets, trading products, and basic sales trading concepts.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities, with proficiency in Excel and other relevant trading or reporting tools.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle client interactions professionally.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple trades and tasks accurately.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work and collaborate within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage.
• Holder of SFC Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and/or Type 2 (Dealing in Futures Contracts) license is preferred.
• Prior internship or junior experience in sales, trading, or financial services is beneficial.
