Assistant Manager, Investment Accounting (Insurance)

A Global Life Insurance firm with a strong presence in Asia, China and Europe is looking for an Assistant Manager to support on Investment Accounting responsibilities. Your new role

• Handle investment reporting and month-end closing including fund reconciliation
• Review and recommend proper workflow and operations for the company
• Assist in system implementation and UAT
• Be aware of risk management and control processes
• Assist with investment accounting system enhancement and improvement
• Handle regulatory reporting including IFRS 9 and 17
• Liaise with banks, custodians and other stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelors' degree
• CPA qualification is a plus, not a must
• 4 years of financial reporting or investment accounting experience within Insurance
• Knowledge of Insurance, IFRS 9 or 17 is a plus
• Good communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Able to work well independently as well as in a team
