Junior DevOps Engineer

A global investment bank is looking for candidates who enjoy solving technical problems and working in enterprise Unix/Linux environments.

Your new role

• Deploy, configure, and support applications in Unix/Linux environments.
• Onboard new business applications and system integrations.
• Develop automation scripts using Python or Shell scripting.
• Manage application deployments through Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Support messaging platforms such as Kafka, MQ, or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, network, and connectivity issues.
• Perform system testing, release validation, and production support.
• Work closely with regional technology teams across Asia.
• Identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements.

What you'll need to succeed

• 
  4+ years of experience in System Integration, Application Support, Middleware Support, DevOps, or Production Support
  
• 
  Strong hands-on Unix/Linux administration skills.
  
• 
  Proficiency in Python and/or Shell scripting.
  
• 
  Good understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, and network connectivity.
  
• 
  Experience using Jenkins for CI/CD and deployment automation.
  
• 
  Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  
• 
  Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
